Studio Policies
ShadowOfaDancer is committed to providing a high level of service to Palo Alto and the surrounding communities.
All studio policies are strictly enforced to ensure the safety and wellbeing our clients and instructors.
General Policies
All Clients are required to wear clean sticky socks while in the studio. These can be purchased in-studio.
Street shoes are not allowed outside the designated waiting area.
Only water is allowed outside the designated waiting area.
There is a lot of breathing involved in the movement we teach. Avoid wearing strong scented perfumes/lotions. You don't know what allergies your follow student may have.
ShadowOfaDancer welcomes people from all backgrounds, orientations, and genders. Bullying or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Cancelations & Refunds
Single and package purchases are fully refundable for 72 hours from date of purchase. After 72 hours purchases are 50% refundable up to 24 hours prior to the start of your session.
More than 24 hour cancellation notice is required. If less than 24 hours notice is given then the session will be deducted from your package or your credit card will be charged the full amount for a single session/class.
Cancelations made after the 24 hour mark are nonrefundable.
Used sessions or classes are nonrefundable.
Monthly 1:1 membership fees are nonrefundable once billed. You are responsible for using all purchased sessions.
You will not be discounted or refunded if you are late for your session and end up with a shorter session as a result.
1:1 Memberships
All general and cancelation policies apply.
Memberships are billed monthly.
Unused sessions carryover to the following month. This has no effect on the monthly fee.
Additional sessions will be considered an Add-on. Add-ons will be charged if all prepaid sessions have been used before the end of the billing cycle.
You may pause or cancel your membership at any time.
Health & Cleaning Policies
If healthy, clients may choose to wear a mask or not for sessions held in studio. If requested, the instructor will wear a mask during a client’s private session.
Sanitization stations are conveniently located in the designated waiting area.
Air filters will be running constantly.
All provided props & equipment are sanitized after each use and the entire studio isdeep cleaned once a week. High traffic areas are cleaned daily.
If you are feeling slightly sick you may attend your session as long as you do not have a fever and wear mask.
Wait at least 24 hours after fever has broken before returning to the studio.
