Jessica strongly believes that to make dancing look easy and bring out your natural artistry, coordination through alignment and breath be the predominant goal for every dancer. She believes that ballet is for everyone and encourages her students to believe in their potential as artistic movers. As an American Ballet Theatre Certified Teacher, she has 15 years of teaching experience and attends seminars and other courses each year to continue to provide her students with the highest level of training. Over the years her students have been accepted into various college programs including but not limited to Lines BFA Program, Arts Umbrella, Marymount, NYU, UCLA, Columbia, Chapman, & Juilliard. Many of her students have gone on to have successful careers in LA, NYC, & around the world.
With first hand experience training in the Cecchetti, Vaganova, and French styles of ballet, Jessica is able to work with students of any technical background. This experience allows your private sessions to be built around your and your school's expectations to help you meet you goals. Another unique feature of Jessica's lessons is that homework is giving at the end of each session. This helps you to feel less overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of details involved in improving your technique. About Jessica's studio Jessica's studio is located in her home and includes a full Gyrotonic Tower with a ballet barre attachment, Wingmaster, and a wall to wall sprung Marley floor. Yoga mats, stools, & other props are also available to help accommodate any & all body types. Please note that Jessica & her husband are "pet parents" & have two cats. They are both very friendly & will wonder in from time to time.
